St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church is excited to present our proposal for a new modern apartment building to the Murphy-Michigan community. This modern residential building has been designed to provide 45 one bedroom units for the neighbourhood that will integrate seamlessly with the operations of our church and daycare, onsite. This apartment provides its tenants with beautiful daylit spaces in a contemporary structure that will implement green and sustainable technologies within. The apartment will provide housing to seniors and presents an opportunity for those aging in this neighbourhood to continue to do so in a suitable environment. The building will be located on the north side of our property with direct access to murphy road, and a private parking area at the back of the building. Walkability is enhanced as commercial amenities are conveniently located across the street as well as an adjacent bus stop for public transportation. We trust the community will be as proud of this building as we are. We want our building to provide a positive impact not only to our future tenants but the community that surrounds us as well.
