Lazaros “LARRY” Liriotakis

Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at London University Hospital, Larry Liriotakis passed away at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Efstathia for 39 years. Loving father of John, Foti and his wife Mary Liriotakis. Cherished grandfather of Lucy. Dear brother of Potitsa and Hrissa. Predeceased by his brother George and sister Maria. Survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family in Greece and Canada. Larry co-owned the Bridge Tavern Family Restaurant for 40 years. He was beloved by many in the community and lived a life of philotimo. Larry will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 1299 Murphy Rd., Sarnia, on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Kidney Foundation, or Lung Association (cheques only at the funeral home please).
